Rob Meston has been in the water conservation field for nearly 25 years, starting in 1990 as a Field Technician for a small Montana consulting company specializing in leak detection field services in the Pacific Northwest.In 1994, the company, which employed about 10 people, was purchased by a northwest pipe and sewerage supply company and subsequently moved its operations from Montana to Washington State. At the same time, Rob was promoted to Consultant/Technical Support where he was responsible for the day-to-day activities of the field crews.The company was part of several large sales and mergers between 1996 and 2009, during which time Rob was tasked with running the division and overseeing its growth from a small company to one of the biggest companies in the industry, employing over 20 people with revenues well over 7 million.In 2009, Rob decided to start his own company (Utility Services Associates) and has steadily grown it from a small 4 person operation to a successful company employing over 15 people with revenues of nearly 2 million. As President, Rob is responsible for many of the day-to-day activities of the company as well as guiding the company through its vision of becoming the premier provider of water leak detection and asset management services.
Bruce Rubin has been with the company since 1992. Bruce works out of the Montana Branch, where he is available to consult clients on leak detection, water audits, tank inspection, corrosion control and develop new procedures, methods, and products to keep Utility Services on the cutting edge. In his capacity as Vice President of Sales, Bruce assists with scheduling and is available in an advisory capacity with any of our projects.
Jeff Benjamin has been in the water conservation field for 8 years, starting in 2008 for Utility Services Associates, LLC, a consulting company specializing in leak detection field services throughout the United States. Jeff started as a Field Technician and was promoted to Water Loss Consultant and Senior Water Loss Consultant before accepting the position of Business Development Manager in 2015. Jeff started his career in the Navy, having served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. Upon an honorable discharge Jeff managed and operated several small businesses in the construction, marketing, sales and utility trades. In his spare time Jeff likes to play golf, follow NASCAR and MLS Soccer, and ride his motorcycle with the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Club. He has been married 39 years and has 5 grandchildren.
Cory Simonson joined USA as a Field Technician in 2009 and currently works out of our Montana office, responsible for our Rocky Mountain and Great Plains states clients. Cory was promoted to Water Loss Consultant and acted as on-site project manager, coordinating with other technicians to maintain project continuity and quality assurance. He helped to develop and pilot our Segway survey methods. His primary responsibilities include consulting with clients on water conservation projects. In addition, he acts as technical adviser to USA field activity. He is a State of Montana Certified Operator: Water Distribution 2A, Water Treatment 3B.
Michael has been in the water industry for 30 years at the Virgin Island Water & Power Authority and Public Works Department. His extensive knowledge of policies and processes will be instrumental in expanding many of the procedures we have in place to better serve our clients, including accounting functions, contracts and safety management.
Suzie joined USA in June of 2008. She coordinates and maintains all client files including pre-project correspondence and Final Report preparation and submission. She acts as liaison between management and field staff and provides office support for all aspects of the Leak Detection program.
